Overview

Opened to the public in 2011, pre-booking is mandatory to visit this Eco Park.

Entry is restricted with only a maximum of 100-250 people allowed inside per day/session.

The ecosystem in the park consists of a tropical dense evergreen forest with thick dark foliage.

There are over 160 species of plants/trees and more than 140 species of fish, amphibians, birds and reptiles.

A number of rare species of birds have been spotted. Some of these are white-bellied sea eagle, pied kingfisher and chestnut-winged Cuckoo.

Things to Know before Visiting

Book tickets online and well in advance since tickets are limited and you might not be able to get them, especially on weekends.

Timings and tickets are different for guided and non-guided sessions.

Wear comfortable shoes. Avoid sandals or dress shoes.

Expect some mosquitoes and humidity.

Eating is not allowed inside.

The park might feel secluded at times. Stick to the path.

Yes, children are allowed to visit the park, though very young children should be accompanied closely due to uneven paths and natural terrain.

Photography is generally allowed, but the use of tripods or professional equipment may be restricted.

There are no Metro Stations nearby. However, Mandaveli and Greenways Road are two MRTS (electric train) stations that are only around 1.5 Kms away from the park.

4. Are restrooms available inside the park?

Restroom facilities are available near the entrance area for visitors.
