Both the Museum and the Planetarium were established in 1988.

The Museum focuses on hands-on learning. Visitors don’t just observe science – They can also apply scientific concepts.

Things to Know before Visiting

Planetarium shows run in specific slots (available in either Tamil or in English). Check the timings on the website.

Can be covered in 2-3 hours.

Very Young Kids (<8 years old) might get bored in the Museum though they might like the Planetarium.
